Rocky Elam, a Kansas City, Missouri native, brings a wealth of wrestling accomplishments to the Iowa State Cyclones program. A four-time NCAA All-American, he achieved placements of fifth, fourth, third, and sixth at the NCAA Championships. He also boasts two conference championships, a 2023 Big 12 title, a 2021 MAC title, and a 2021 Junior World Championship. Elam has also been recognized for his academic excellence, earning two-time NWCA Scholar All-American honors and three-time Academic All-Big 12 selections. After redshirting the 2024-25 season due to injury, according to Iowa State University Athletics, he is poised to make a significant impact on the mat for the Cyclones.

Stevo Poulin, a highly anticipated addition to the Iowa State Cyclone wrestling team, is set to make a significant impact at the 125-pound weight class. A redshirt junior from Ballston Lake, New York, Poulin joins the Cyclones with a decorated wrestling career.

Poulin earned All-American honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships, finishing eighth at 125 pounds, capping off a 24-6 season. He was a three-time NCAA qualifier at his previous schools, UNC and NC State. He was also the 2025 Southern Scuffle Champion.

Before his collegiate career, Poulin was a standout wrestler at Shenendehowa High School in New York, where he was a three-time state champion with a remarkable 132-1 record. He was also a Super 32 champion and a Cadet Freestyle World Team member, finishing fifth at the Cadet Freestyle World Championships.

The Cyclones are excited to have Poulin join their ranks, and he is expected to be a key contributor in the upcoming season.
